The Deck:
The Deuces & Joker video poker machine uses a 53 card deck. All four 2's are wild. There is also a joker in the deck, for a total of 5 wild cards
The Payout Table:
Because there are so many wild cards in the deck, single pairs of anything are not rewarded. Two of any pair are also not rewarded. Three-of-a-kind returns the bet, and a straight pays a mere 2-to-1.
The full house/flush ratio of the game is 3/3. The payout chart gets interesting with the Royal Flush. A Royal Flush with the aid of a wild card only pays 12-to-1. A natural Royal Flush pays 250-to-1.
The jackpot hand is all 5 wild cards, which is Four Deuces and a Joker. The hand is rewarded handsomely, 10,000-to-1. Apparently at VPC this is only engaged with max play. I should know better, ALWAYS play max play, even if it means dropping the coin size.
